Nidine Simmonds D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic Nidine Simmonds decided to become a Chiropractor after observing various therapists in a search for her future career.

"The one person that stood out was a chiropractor. The way they could solve the puzzle, by observing how someone stood and moved... Not only did they identify the root cause of the problem, but the ability to help someone feel instantly better really caught my attention and started my passion for chiropractic."

She obtained her Masters degree in Chiropractic from the Anglo European College of Chiropractors after emigrating from South Africa as a newlywed.Having started her career in Hampshire, she joined the team here in Stoke-on Trent in 2010.

"I have a special interest in both treatment of pregnant ladies and babies. I believe that chiropractic care is essential throughout pregnancy to both prevent problems and help ease labour through the alignment of the pelvis. After the recent birth my son, I personally have chiropractoc care to thank for a straight forward and painfree pregnancy having had pelvic problems in the past."

Beth Lloyd

Beth has a background in sport and exercise, both competitively and for pleasure, which started at a young age and includes Badminton, Basketball, Hiking, Hockey, Rock Climbing, Sailing, Snowboarding, Swimming, and Walking.

An injury at a young age ignited an interest in sports injury management and the benefits of massage. A degree in Sports and Exercise Science from York St John followed. A desire to be ‘hands on’ led to an in-depth diploma in Sports Massage Therapy.

Beth soon realised that some people were missing out on the benefits of sports massage, by not classing themselves as ’sporty’, so she has branched out in to No Hands Massage so as to reach those patients who prefer massage for relaxation and wellbeing.

“After gaining my degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2003 at the University of York St John I developed an interest in the hands-on world of Sports Massage and how it can aid athletes in achieving their goals. I qualified as a Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner in 2005 and in 2007 I added to my abilities by becoming a No Hands Massage Practitioner. Since then I have been helping people feel at their best again.”

By following some simple dietary guidelines and a supplement regime recommended to me by a naturopath, I was able to completely get rid of my symptoms and regain an excellent quality of life. This sparked my passion for nutrition and naturopathy’.

Catherine has a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy issued by the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and is working towards a diploma and degree in Naturopathy.

Ben Roberts

Doctor of Chiropractic, Ben Roberts, graduated from the AECC in Bournemouth, receiving his Masters Degree in Chiropractic with honours.

Ben first came across Chiropractic at the age of 17: "I woke up one morning unable to turn my head to the right and was in a fair amount of discomfort. I visited a chiropractor who was able to both relieve my pain and restore the movement in my neck. The chiropractor informed me that my poor posture was likely to be the cause of my neck pain and explained what to do to prevent the injury recurring. That was 8 years ago and I've had no problems since. I am extremely passionate about Chiropractic, a therapy which doesn't just treat the pain, but the underlying cause."

Ben has a special interest in sports injuries; working alongside a number of sports clubs, and he firmly believes that most injuries are preventable with the correct postural and lifestyle advice.
